Small cluster and grapes with strong grape-skin.

PLAGUES AND DISEASES

Sensitive to powdery mildew  and botrytis but few sensitive to mildew.

AGRICULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS

Vigorous variety, medium production. Cool and loose soils required.

OENOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS

It produces aromatic wines with high alcohol content and acidity. It can be made alone or mixed with other varieties.
