PHENOLOGY

It shoots earlier than Cabernet Sauvignon and after Red Garnacha. Early ripening (similar to Merlot and seven days before Cabernet Sauvignon)

Sensitive to mildew, powdery mildew, botrytis.

AGRICULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS

Upright growing and big leaves. High production. It is important to control it in order to obtain high quality wines for aging.
