ORIGIN
Released from the breeding program  Provedo in Don Benito, (Badajoz).

FLAVOUR

Sweet, sharp and aromatic flavour. Crunchy and juicy flesh.

TREE
Very productive and vigorous, with half open growing.

BLOSSOM
Medium to early blossom time. Blossom starts later than “florida” and earlier than medium to early blossom varieties like Rich Lady with bell shape flower.

RIPENING
Week 20, (May, 15th in Badajoz).

FRUIT
It is the first red peach of the year. Excellent colour with very good size and firmness. Fruit hangs well. Perfectly round shape, without mucro and suture instead. Very dark maroon, little fuzz. Delicious flavour a little bit acid.

EVALUATION
It is a medium dormant variety. Its adaptability to different chilling necessities permits its production in warm zones and its early to medium blossom makes production possible in medium dormant climates.
It is the earliest peach with high qualities to be the first peach of the year.
