Moscatel Romano


Also known as Málaga´s Muscat, Alejandría´s Muscat, Big berry Muscat.

Widely cultivated variety in Spain, both in irrigated and drought areas. Low vigour with short prunes required. Ripening time from middle of July until the middle of September.

Cluster: big, loose, with arms and conic-cylindrical.

Grapes: golden colour, thick elliptic, with intense Muscat flavour and taste. Crunchy, fleshy and weak tight to the stem.

Low transport resistance. It also can be used to produce raisins and sweet wines.
