Cardinal


Vigorous variety and late bud- burst. Early ripening, from middle July to the end of August. It depends on the area.

It is cultivated in Valencia, Alicante and Castellón provinces, where the production varies from 6.000 to 7.000 Kg/Ha. More production per vine could cause colourless grapes.

The cluster is cylindrical-conic, with two evident arms, symmetric and pyramidal.

Grapes: round, of uniform size, lightly oval and red violet colour; with crunchy and aromatic flesh; medium skin thickness and resistant.
